On October 21, 2025, ALSA Thailand and ALSA Malaysia had the wonderful opportunity to visit Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners, where we learned about the working environment and practices within a law firm, serving as valuable guidance for our future professional development in the legal field.
Overview of the experience
Firm introductory session
We had the honor of having a senior partner of the firm to give us a brief overview of the structure of the firm, as well as perception into the firm’s culture and environment.
Interactive panel discussion
The firm’s accomplished attorneys have given us their precious time to share their insights and experiences working in the legal field as a corporate lawyer, while also providing guidance to participants who wish to follow their career path.
Practice-specific session
We also had the privilege of having professionals from each practice of the firm come to give us an understanding of their field, the essential elements of working in their fields and their key to their current success.
Office tour
Participants also had the opportunity to explore the firms recently moved into office at Park Silom, where they got to experience firsthand the professional scene of being an attorney working in a law firm.
Highlights of participant experience
Not only were the participants able to gain a more in depth understanding of working in a law firm but they were also given the opportunity to make new connections with the professionals working in the field. Getting to know the details of the job through conversations with lawyers from specific fields is truly one of a kind experience the visit offers. In addition, the exclusive office tour did not merely show the working space of the firm’s lawyers but also a better understanding of WC&P and how the firm had come to be in the present day through the details in their office.
Last but not least, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to WC&P, the speakers, and all participants for making this visit an inspiring and insightful experience.
